EVANGILISATION: “Vision Document: Shaping Our Future: This weekend marks a key milestone in the Steward of the Gospel process as the Vision Document: Shaping Our Future is published. Bishop Alan has recorded a video message to all parishioners that can be viewed on the Diocese’s website by clicking on picture that appears on the home page http://www.dioceseofbrentwood.net/departments/development/
Please take time to watch and listen to this message in the coming days. In the News section you will also find a link to the Vision Document: Shaping Our Future. The Vision Document:

Shaping Our Future is designed as an online resource in line with our early commitment to making better use of technology and it has links through to other websites and documents. Viewing the document on line enables it be read in large print and some people have access to read aloud functions. Wherever possible we would urge you to read the document online but in the parish we have hard copies of the booklets for those who cannot access the online version.”
We are inevitably moving towards the future using the Internet for all forms of communication and I have a very small number of hard copies of the document available for any unable to access the information on line. www.dioceseofbrentwood.net

CHILDRENS LITURGY:
THIS IS IN DANGER OF CLOSING DOWN
Due to natural wastage we are facing an issue regarding the number of people available to assist with Children’s Liturgy ‘under 7 years’ on Sunday morning.
I do not need to stress the importance of a liturgy dedicated to young people young people who used to be simply ignored or excluded. We provide simple course books and notes for each Sunday and many details are available on the Internet. Offering this facility enhances and strengthens our parish, which is essential at this time of change. I am hoping that a refreshed team for 2019 will re - encourage parents to bring their youngsters along to mass on a more regular basis so please help if you can.
Perhaps some of our recent Confirmation recipients might be available in addition to parents with young children.
